Panasonic has launched a new range of artificial intelligence (AI) enabled refrigerators in India. The newly launched refrigerator series comes at a starting price of 22,900 for the appliance with a capacity of 270L and it goes all the way to 89,999 for the 601L capacity variant.

As far as the features are concerned, Panasonic’s new refrigerator range is powered by the company’s Econavi technology, which not only saves power but also adapts to the usage to give better cooling results.

The technology consists of three types of sensors. The door sensor senses how frequently the door is opened to understand a family’s needs to automatically switch between the power saving mode to other power modes. The temperature sensor detects internal and external temperature to determine and adjust to the required cooling power without human intervention. The light sensor, on the other hand, adjusts temperature as per ambient light.

Panasonic says that its AI Refrigerators provide optimum cooling and upto 49% power saving using its intelligent Econavi sensors and 6-speed Inverter Compressor.

Additionally, the newly launched series of refrigerators come equipped with AG Clean technology, which the company claims can deactivate upto 99.9% of bacteria in the refrigerator to keep food fresh and healthy. It also has 20% extra storage space with a 35L vegetable box.

Panasonic is offering a 10-year warranty on the compressor to all customers on the purchase of its AI-powered refrigerators which will be available across all Panasonic brand shops and online platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart.
