Panasonic launches new ACs in India, claims it can inhibit 99.99% coronavirus
They will be available at a starting price of ₹66,000 across major retail outlets, online portals and Panasonic brand stores soon.
Panasonic India today launched a new range of split air conditioners in India. These new air conditioners are a part of its HU series and they come with the company's nanoe-X technology, which the company claims can inhibit 99.99% coronavirus.
To give you a quick brief, Panasonic India launched its nanoe-X technology in November last year. The company claims that this technology is capable of inhibiting 99.99% bacteria and viruses, including the novel coronavirus. It cleans and deodorises the air by producing nano-sized hydroxyl radicals (also known as OH radicals). These particles effectively inhibit the growth of certain pollutants such as allergens, bacteria, viruses, moulds, odours, and certain hazardous substances.
Panasonic says that its nanoe-X technology addresses possible risks associated with pathogenic microorganisms, including the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), intending to create cleaner and safer environments for people around the world.
Coming back to its newly launched air-conditioners, the company says that it has successfully tested its nanoe X device as well as nanoe-X ACs for the inhibitory effect on the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) at Texcell Laboratory in France.
Apart from the nanoe-X technology, Panasonic's new ACs come with HU series features such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and IoT platform to ensure connected living. They also offer a superior cooling experience via Twin Cool INV, ECONAVI and Jetstream features. They also come with Shield-Blu and ecoTOUGH technology features for durability.
Panasonic's new line-up of the five-star inverter nanoe-X ACs will be available in 1-ton and 1.5-ton variants. They will be available at a starting price of ₹66,000 across major retail outlets, online portals and Panasonic brand stores soon.
