Dell launches new Alienware, XPS and G-series laptops in India; check price, specs, availability here

Dell announced that the Alienware x15 is available at a starting price of ₹2,40,990 in India while the Alienware x17 is available at a starting price of ₹290,990 in the country.

As far as the availability is concerned, the Dell Alienware x15, the Dell Alienware x17, XPS 15 and XPS 17 will be available in India via Dell.com starting September 3. (Dell)

Dell hosted a special event today to launch its 2021 lineup consisting of gaming and consumer PCs in India. Dell's 2021 lineup includes a total of six personal computer models, which include models from the company's Alienware series, XPS series and G-series.

“At Alienware, there is always something exciting brewing - with the Alienware X-Series, we are bringing new thermal solutions and breakthrough system-level engineering controls to let gamers play the latest titles with ease. With this launch, we are debuting a brand-new mobile gaming family that demonstrates our values of innovation, high performance, iconic design, and premium quality, in India,” Anand Subramanya, Director- Product Marketing, Consumer and Small Business, Dell Technologies said on the occasion.

Dell gaming, consumer PCs price and availability

Dell announced that the Alienware x15 is available at a starting price of ₹2,40,990 in India while the Alienware x17 is available at a starting price of ₹290,990 in the country. On the other hand, the Dell XPS 15 is available at a starting price of ₹2,23,990 in India while the Dell XPS 17 is available at a starting price of ₹2,64,490.

Lastly, the Dell G-series PCs. Dell announced that the Dell G15 AMD version will be available in India at a starting price of ₹82,990 while the Intel variant will be available at a starting price of ₹94,990.

As far as the availability is concerned, the Dell Alienware x15, the Dell Alienware x17, XPS 15 and XPS 17 will be available in India via Dell.com starting September 3. On the other hand, the Dell G15, both the AMD and Intel variants, will be available in India starting September 23.

Dell XPS 15, XPS 17 specs

As far as the features are concerned, the Dell XPS 15 comes with a 15.6-inch 4K UHD+ InfinityEdge touch display, while the XPS 15 comes with a 17-inch 4K UHD+ InfinityEdge

Touch display. Both the laptops are powered by Intel's 11th-generation Core i9H processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics on the XPS 15 and up to i9K and RTX 3060 graphics on the XPS 17. They come with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of PCle SSD storage. While the XPS 17 comes with a 97Whr battery, XPS 15 comes with a 86Whr battery. Both the laptops come with Dolby Vision and EyeSafe Technologies.

Dell G15 specs

Coming to the Dell G15, it comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display panel with 120Hz refresh rate. It is available in four-processor options -- 11th Gen Intel CoreTM i5, 11th Gen Intel CoreTM i7, AMD RyzenTM 5 and AMD RyzenTM 7. This is coupled with NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM graphics, up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD storage space. It is available in two battery options, which includes a three-cell 56Whr battery and a six-cell 86Whr battery. It comes in Dark Shadow Grey, Specter Green with speckles and Phantom Grey with Speckles colour variants.

Alienware x15, Alienware x17 specs

Lastly, the Alienware laptops. While the x15 comes with a 15.6-inch FHD ComfortView Plus display, the x17 comes with a 17.3-inch FHD ComfortView Plus display. Both the laptops are powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core processors in i7 and i9 configurations with NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM graphics with up to 3080 8GB GDDRR6 configuration. They feature up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. They come with the first Alienware-branded 240W power adapter, which the company says provides gamers with a small and light form factor for better portability. They both come with a 87Whr battery.
