Dell launches new G-series, Alienware gaming laptops in India with Intel and AMD processors

While the Alienware M15 R3 starts at ₹199,990 (including GST), the G5 15 SE, G5 15 and G3 15 begin at ₹74,990, ₹82,590 and ₹73,990.

Dell today boosted its gaming product portfolio by introducing 2020 models of G-series laptops and Alienware laptops as well. The list includes the Dell G5 15 SE, Dell G5 15, and Dell G3 15 along with the Alienware m15 R3. 

While the Alienware M15 R3 starts at ₹1,99,990 (including GST), the G5 15 SE, G5 15 and G3 15 begin at ₹74,990, ₹82,590 and ₹73,990 respectively. These new gaming laptops will be made available online and offline stores via Amazon, Flipkart, select large format retail and multi brand outlets.

Dell G5 15 SE is a special device in the list as it features AMD processor instead of Intel. It supports AMD Ryzen 4000 H-Series Mobile Processors (up to 8-cores, 16-threads) along with AMD Radeon RX 5600M GPUs. The laptop also uses AMD SmartShift technology that auto adjusts the performance by shifting power between the Ryzen processor and Radeon GPU when required. Some other features mentioned for the G5 15 are a 15-inch FHD IPS display panel, customizable red backlit keyboard and 51WHr battery.

However, there's an Intel version as well. The Dell G5 15 sports a premium metallic IMR finish and sports up to 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processors. Some other features mentioned are dual-fan cooling technology and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650Ti GPU.

Dell G3 15 is the less powerful version in the series, which also offers up to 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processors with two graphics variants - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650Ti.

The entire G series laptops also come with Nahimic 3D Audio for more audio and voice controls and Audio Recon visual sound tracking, Game Shift for maximum fan speed for optimal processor performance, and Alienware Command Center hub for controlling in-game and peripheral lighting settings.
