Dell XPS 13, XPS 15 (2020) teasers show up on Amazon, may launch on July 8

It is being assumed that the two laptops might be launched on July 8 as the company recently sent out invitations for a “The XPS Experience” event.

Dell seems all ready to expand its laptop line up in India with two new models - XPS 13 and XPS 15 (2020) editions. There's no public announcement coming from the PC maker but a rather quiet listing on the e-commerce giant, Amazon India. The page, unfortunately, does not reveal the launch date but says it will arrive ‘soon'. It is being assumed that the two laptops might be launched on July 8 based on the invitations sent by the company. As per the invite, the “The XPS Experience” event will take place on July 8 at 11.30AM IST.

Dell XPS 13 and XPS 15 models have already launched outside India so we at least know the US prices for now. While the XPS 13 starts at $999, which roughly means Rs. 74,600, the larger sibling starts at $1,299, which approximately means around ₹97,000. Both go until ₹Rs. 1.6 lakh and ₹2.05 lakh respectively.

As for the specifications, the XPS 13 and XPS 15 are supposed to feature 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes and powered by Intel's newest 10th-gen Core processors. Both laptops will have screens with 16:10 aspect ratio and the company's own Infinity Edge tech with thinner bezels on all the four sides. They have 4K (touch or non touch) display options as well and will feature 100% Adobe RGB coverage with 94% DCI-P3 coverage.

The XPS 13 and XPS 15 can be configured with up to Core i7-1065G7 processor, 32GB RAM, and up to 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD storage. As for the graphics, it may feature Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU as well.
