HP Omen 16 launches in India! HP's latest gaming laptop with the 11th Gen Intel processor and NVIDIA RTX 30 series GPU is here. The highlight of the laptop is its larger 16.1-inch display, which is bigger than than most 15/14-inch gaming laptops found in this price range. Prices for the HP Omen 16 gaming laptop start at 1,39,990.

The HP Omen 16 is already available for purchase from HP's retail stores and online stores. HP says that parts of the new Omen devices are built from post-consumer recycled ocean-bound plastic, including a recycled aluminium stamped cover.

HP Omen 16 gaming laptop launches in India

Adding to the Omen series gaming laptops, the HP Omen 16 comes with a 16.1-inch QHD display with a refresh rate of 165Hz and 100 percent SRGB colour gamut. There's also a FHD display option that comes with a refresh rate of 144hz. The laptop can be equipped with up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11800H mobile chipset.

For graphics, HP is allowing users to spec up to NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU with 8GB of video memory. The lower variant come with NVIDIA RTX 3060 graphics card option. The laptop comes with up to 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4x4 SSD storage. HP says that this setup allows the laptop to play modern AAA games at 1080p with 60 fps frame rates.

HP has upgraded the battery size from the previous model. The company claims that its 83Whr battery can promise up to 9 hours of stamina on a single charge (obviously not while gaming). HP has also upgraded the cooling system with larger fan blades to reduce temperatures while gaming for longer sessions.

The Omen 16 comes with 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard and low profile stealthy design previously seen on Omen branded laptops. The laptop weighs 2.3 kilos and uses a mix of plastic and metal for its construction. It ships with Windows 10 and HP is yet to say when it will be ready for Windows 11.
