Realme Book (Slim) laptop launched in India today, CEO calls it 'the most important part of our ‘1+5+T’ strategy'

Realme launches Book (Slim) laptop in India, CEO says, "Extremely excited to introduce the most important part of our ‘1+5+T’ strategy, our first laptop - the Realme Book (Slim)".

Realme hosted a special event today during which it launched its next-generation Realme GT 5G and the Realme GT Master Edition smartphones. In addition to these smartphones, Realme also introduced a new product category in India by launching its first-ever laptop called the Realme Book (Slim). It comes with some of the top-of-the-line features such as a 2K display and Intel's 11th-generation core processors.

Realme launches Book (Slim) price and availability

The Realme Book (Slim) will be available in India in two colour variants -- Real Grey and Real Blue. While the variant with 11th Generation Intel Core i3 processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage space is priced at ₹44,999, the variant with 11th Generation Intel Core™ i5 processor with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space is priced at ₹56,999. The newly launched laptop will be available for its first sale in India starting 12PM on August 30 via realme.com, Flipkart and mainline channels.

Realme Book (Slim) specs and features

Coming to the features, the Realme Book (Slim) comes with a 14-inch IPS display with a screen ratio of 3:2, a narrow bezel of 5.3mm and a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. It offers 100% sRGB color gamut with a peak brightness of 400 nits. It is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core processors that are coupled with Intel's Iris Xe Graphics for Core i5 Version. The Core i3 version, on the other hand, comes equipped with Intel UHD Graphics. It supports up to 512GB PCIe SSD storage with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

Coming to audio, the Realme Book (Slim) features two HARMAN speakers that feature support for DTS HD stereo sound effects. It also has two microphones that feature support for Elevoc Vocplus AI noise cancellation algorithms. It also comes with a built-in HD camera.

For connectivity, the Realme Book (Slim) has a Thunderbolt 4 port, Wi-Fi 6 technology, Bluetooth v5.2 in Core i5 variant and v5.1 in Core i3 variant, two USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port and a 3.5mm jack. The newly launched laptop features support for a 54Wh battery with support for 65W Super-Fast Charge technology, which the company says charges the device up to 50% in only 30 minutes.
