Realme teases a laptop launch in India with a “Hello World” tweet: What we know so far

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth tweeted a binary code that translates to “Hello World” and shared a photo that gives us a glimpse at a laptop. This has gotten speculations buzzing about an impending laptop launch from the company.

Realme has launched a whole range of devices in India already, but a laptop isn't one of them. That's all set to change soon though and the company might take its first steps into the laptop category soon. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth tweeted a little teaser that hints at a laptop joining their product list soon.

Sheth shared a post from his official Twitter handle that included a binary message and a photograph. This binary message, when decoded, reads - “Hello World”. “01001000B 01100101B 01101100B 01101100B 01101111B 00100000B 01010111B 01101111B 01110010B 01101100B 01100100B 00100001B 00000000B #realme new product category has a message for you! Can you decode it & guess the product name that will add up to your #TechLife?” - the tweet reads. The photo shared with the tweet shows off one edge of a laptop that looks like it is inside a brown paper bag. Sheth also asked his followers to guess the name of the upcoming product.

Going by the photo, the laptop appears to be sleek and grey, much like the Apple MacBook Air. There is barely any other information we can gather from the photo shared though, so we will have to wait for Realme to provide more information in the near future. There is also no information available online regarding a Realme laptop.

 

YouTuber Mukul Sharma who is known to share some leaks often, has also tipped about the upcoming Realme laptops. Going by his tweet, Sharma has confirmed that the laptops from Realme are expected to be launched around June this year.

However, Realme is officially yet to announce anything regarding the devices or a launch date. We also know nothing about the specifications. So at this point, we just have to wait. It's

so far safe to conclude that Realme is planning to launch laptops, but that is all. For now, Realme is preparing to launch the Realme GT 5G in India, this smartphone is also going to launch globally.
