Samsung Galaxy Book Go, Galaxy Book Go 5G laptops launched: Check specs, price

Samsung’s latest Galaxy Book Go series comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors, and offers up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Samsung today launched the Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G laptops. The Galaxy Book Go comes with Wi-Fi and LTE, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor. The Galaxy Book Go 5G has the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor running under its hood.

The Galaxy Book Go Wi-Fi version and LTE version starts at $349 ( ₹25,600 approx), and will be available from June in select markets. Samsung hasn't revealed the price and availability of the Galaxy Book Go 5G but it will go on sale later this year. The Galaxy Book go comes in only one silver colour, and it weighs 1.38kg.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy Book Go features a 14-inch TFT FHD display, and runs Windows 10 Home/Pro. The laptop is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor paired with Adreno GPU. Its connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. The laptop comes in two configurations of 4GB RAM + 64GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB. There's a microSD card slot for storage expansion as well.

The Galaxy Book Go packs a 42.3Wh battery with support for 25W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. It also has a USB 2.0 Type-A port, two USB 3.2 Type-C ports, a nano SIM card slot, and a headphone/microphone jack. The laptop also features an HD camera for video calls. More features on the Galaxy Book Go include Dolby Atmos, military-grade durability, and 180-degree folding hinge.

The Galaxy Book Go can also easily sync with other Samsung products. It can be connected to the Galaxy Tab S7 series for dual-screen support. Quick Share can be used to share documents, photos and files between Galaxy devices without an internet connection. The laptop also has support for Samsung SmartThings, and SmartThings Find to track down your Galaxy phone. The Galaxy Book Go can also be used to answer texts and make calls, and mirror Android apps with Link to Windows and Microsoft Your Phone.
