Asus hasn't launched any new phone in the past couple of months. But the company is reportedly planning to debut two flagship phones in July one of which will be the ROG Phone 3.

This comes from Taiwanese publication Commercial Times which says that Asus Zenfone 7 and the ROG Phone 3 will launch in July. The launch could take place sometime earlier too. Asus updates its flagship lineup around this time so the report is most likely accurate.

This report also comes shortly after the ROG Phone 3 received Wi-Fi certification and was spotted on benchmarking website Geekbench. Asus ROG Phone 3 was listed on Geekbench with Android 10 and an octa-core Qualcomm chipset which is most likely the Snapdragon 865.

Not sure which
mobile to buy?

The smartphone packs 8GB of RAM according to the Geekbench listing. Asus could offer the ROG Phone 3 with more variants like one with 12GB of RAM. The ROG Phone 2 runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855+ SoC, and it has a 120Hz display, 6,000mAh battery and a 48-megapixel dual camera setup.

As for the Zenfone 7 there's no information about it so far but it will be an upgrade over the Zenfone 6 which is known as Asus 6z in India. Last year, Asus went for the rotating camera mechanism with its Zenfone 6. It's interesting what Asus has to offer in the flagship phone segment.
