Google's flagship smartphone, the Pixel 5, seems to be facing a ‘battery indicator' issue. As reported by 9to5Google, there seems to be a bug due to which the battery indicator on some Pixel 5 units is getting stuck. This means that users are seeing the same percentage of battery for an extended usage. However, a fix is coming soon.

However, one of the Google product experts in the forum confirmed that this is a known bug to Google and it will be fixed in the coming update, which will be ‘rolling out soon'. Meanwhile, there is a temporary solution to it. Pixel 5 users can restart their handsets and plug it back in to the charger. The device will then show you the correct battery level.

“The team is aware of this issue and a fix will be rolling out soon in a future Android update.  Your battery is charging, but the indicator may be stuck.  If you restart your phone and plug it into the charger again, the battery level should quickly rise to the correct level.” Said the expert.
