Huawei has released the second teaser image of its upcoming foldable smartphone, Mate X2. Huawei also confirmed the time for the launch event of the Mate X2 through this teaser.

Huawei is scheduled to launch the Mate X2 on February 22. The teaser image shared on Weibo shows the phone open from the side with an inward folding design. It looks similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold lineup. The Mate X2 has also been shown to highlight the timing of the event which is 8PM China time which would be 5:30 pm IST for viewers in India.

Based on the teaser, it looks like Huawei is going for a different foldable this time with the Mate X2. In the first Huawei Mate X the design was such that the phone folded outwards with the two displays on both sides. We still don’t have a good look though at the Mate X2 but with the launch only three days away we should see the foldable phone properly. Huawei has so far confirmed that the Mate X2 will be powered by the Kirin 9000 processor.

According to a tipster, the Huawei Mate X2 will feature a large display with dual selfie punch-hole cameras. The smartphone is also said to feature an 8.01-inch inward folding display, and a 6.45-inch secondary display. At the rear it could house four cameras with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel secondary camera, a 12-megapixel camera, and an 8-megapixel camera.
