iPhone 14 Pro models to go bigger and better than iPhone 13 Pro? Check big step

Apple is likely to bring a larger display on iPhone 14 Pro models than what is on iPhone 13 Pro.

Months before the launch of iPhone 14 lineup, rumours about expected designs and specifications are making their way to the internet. In a recent development, the 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models are speculated to arrive with a larger display than the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max models. Display industry consultant Ross Young has tipped the display size of the upcoming Apple iPhone 14 series.

As tweeted by Young, the iPhone 14 Pro is likely to have a 6.12-inch screen and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will have a 6.69-inch screen. Both the phones will have a marginally larger display size than iPhone 13 Pro models. The iPhone 14's larger screen sizes are due to narrower bezels around the display while the new pill-and-hole design that will replace the notch.

Meanwhile, a previous report by MyDrivers had suggested that Apple has cracked a deal with Chinese display maker BOE to manufacture screens for the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, while other models i.e, iPhone 14 Max and the iPhone 14 Pro are likely to rely on Samsung and LG for their screens.

Moreover, the iPhone 14 Pro model are also likely to have a better camera i.e, 48MP. The processor chip is also expected to get an upgrade with A16 chipset on Pro models while the non-pro models are likely to rely on the A15 chip, the same chip used inside the iPhone 13.

Apart from that, the Apple iPhone 14 Pro model will also have 8GB of RAM and a 120Hz refresh rate display. That's not all, the tech giant is likely to scrap the mini model i.e, iPhone 14 mini and instead introduce a Max model i.e, iPhone Max for the upcoming iPhone line up. This means the four iPhone 14 models will include- iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
