iQoo Neo 5 smartphone with Snapdragon 870 5G chipset launched

Vivo's sub-brand iQoo has launched a new 5G smartphone in China. iQoo Neo 5 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, liquid cooling system, and it comes with up to 12GB of RAM.
iQoo Neo 5 comes in three variants starting at CNY 2,499 ( ₹27,900 approx) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. iQoo Neo 5 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,699 ( ₹30,200 approx), and the 12GB+256GB variant costs CNY 2,999 ( ₹33,500 approx). The smartphone comes in three colour options of Cloud Shadow Blue, Night Shadow Black, and Pixel Orange. It will go on sale in China on March 22. There's no word on its global availability yet.
In terms of specs, iQoo Neo 5 features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood of the phone runs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870 processor paired with Adreno 650 GPU.
There's a triple rear camera setup on the iQoo Neo 5 featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel mono lens. For selfies, there's a 16-megapixel front camera. The smartphone packs a 4,400mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. It's also equipped with a graphite board and a liquid cooling system.
On the software front, iQoo Neo 5 runs Android 11-based OriginOS. Its connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and a USB Type-C port.
