JioPhone Next goes on sale without registration: Know where to buy
The JioPhone Next is now available for purchase directly from Reliance Digital stores. The price remains unchanged at ₹6,499.
JioPhone Next goes on open sale! If you have been waiting to get your hands on the JioPhone Next, you can head over to the Reliance Digital online store and directly buy the JioPhone Next. The price remains the same as it was during its launch, which is ₹6,499. The phone is available in black and blue colour variants.
For purchasing the JioPhone Next via the Reliance Digital Store, you do not have to make any registration prior to the purchase. The online store doe snot show the EMI plans that Jio announced during its launch. Hence, you can only buy it from here via the bank based EMI offers.
JioPhone Next goes on sale
The JioPhone Next was announced a few months ago and we even got a brief hands-on time with the handset. This is an entry-level Android smartphone where Jio has partnered with Google to work on the software features. It runs on Android 11 Go with pre-loaded Jio, Facebook and Google Go apps; Jio calls it the Pragati OS.
Despite built to a stringent budget, the JioPhone Next gets some of the smart features such as Google Translate, Google Lens, Google Assistant, and more. The phone use a basic Snapdragon 215 chipset paired to 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone supports dual SIM connectivity but you can only access data connectivity via Jio SIM cards; other SIM cards will work as 2G connections with no data connectivity.
The JioPhone Next also features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The phone features certain Snapchat filter baked into the camera app. A 3500mAh battery powers the 5.4-inch HD+ LCD display and the rest of the phone. Jio also bundles a charger in the retail box.
The JioPhone Next competes with certain affordable Android smartphones from Xiaomi, Realme, Samsung, Infinix, and Lava.
