LG G8X to be available for ₹19,999 for a limited period on Flipkart, check details

In association with Flipkart, LG will be offering its flagship G8X phone for a special price of Rs. 19990 for a limited period starting October 16 (LG)

LG Electronics on Sunday announced an exclusive and limited offer on its flagship G8X smartphone. As part of the offer, the smartphone will be available for ₹19,999 for a limited period starting October 16. You can avail the offer on Flipkart which is hosting annual The Big Billion Days sale between October 16 and October 21.

LG G8X had launched in India in December last year with a price tag of ₹49,999. The LG G8X is known for its dual-screen design.

“The phone also allows users to turn mobile gaming up a notch with the LG Game Pad that provides users a complete view of the game on one screen and a full controller on the other. LG's G8X allows users to also pin apps on top of the screens, enabling users to effectively keep track on the desired apps like stocks, sports score, compare pricing of multiple stores while shopping, etc,” said LG in a release.

It features a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080X2340 pixels) FullVision primary display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 403ppi pixel density. The screen also supports the in-display fingerprint sensor. It also houses a waterdrop notch on the front to house the selfie camera. The phone also has a 2.1-inch cover display that shows notifications, date, time, battery life etc.

For performance, LG G8X runs on Snapdragon 855, Qualcomm's 2019 flagship chip. There is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB with a microSD card. A 4,000mAh battery powers the phone.

The phone comes with as many as two cameras on the back – 12-megapixel primary sensor and 13-megapixel secondary sensor with a wide-angle lens. The front houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Flipkart's Big Billion Days Sale

The annual online sale will kick off on October 21. Flipkart is giving a 10% instant discount on purchases via SBI debit or credit cards. It is also offering no-cost EMIs to customers through Bajaj Finserv EMI cards and other bank credit and debit cards. The e-commerce company has also partnered with Paytm to offer cashback to consumers paying through Paytm Wallet and Paytm UPI. Flipkart Plus customers will get access to the sale a day early.
