LG W31 with octa-core chipset, HD display is coming soon
LG will soon launch a new smartphone under its W-series. The upcoming LG W31 will have 4GB RAM and an octa-core MediaTek processor.
LG is working on a new smartphone dubbed as LG W31. The smartphone is likely to be targeted at the mid-range or budget segment. Ahead of the official release, LG W31 has made an early appearance on Google Play Console, revealing key specifications of the phone. The listing also reveals a render of the phone.
Based on the listed render, LG W31 has a dewdrop-like notch on the front. It has thicker bezels on the sides, especially at the bottom. According to the listing, LG W31 comes with MediaTek Helio P22 processor. The octa-core chipset comes with Cortex A53 CPU and is coupled with 4GB of RAM. The display has HD resolution and is an LCD panel. LG W31 runs on Android 10.

LG W31 is rumoured to come with a dual-camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it is said to come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
The LG W31 will join a small W-series of phones. In India, LG offers LG W10, LG W30, and LG W30 Pro. Prices of the smartphone series start at ₹8,999.
The most premium in the lot is LG W30 Pro which comes with a triple rear camera, SuperPulse sound, FullVision display, and a Qualcomm chipset.
The smartphone has a 6.2-inch display with customisable notch and 86.83% screen-to-body ratio. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. It supports expandable storage up to 512GB via a microSD card. The camera setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 5-megapixel depth sensor, and 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. It is powered by a 4,050mAh battery.
LG W30 Pro is available in India for a starting price of ₹12,490.
