Mi 11 series’ latest leak reveals 2K display with 120Hz refresh rate

Xiaomi will soon unveil its new flagship smartphone series, Mi 11. So far, we have come across multiple leaks and rumours that give us a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming premium phones. Now, a new leak reveals the top-end variant of Mi 11, dubbed as Mi 11 Pro, could come with a 2K display with up to 120Hz display. The display will also house a punch-hole cutout to house the front-facing camera and will be placed on the top left side of the screen.
According to reliable leakster Digital Chat Station (via Gizchina), Mi 11 Pro will come with curved sides, akin to Huawei's P40 Pro. “High version works machine to determine qhd+ 120hz left corner of the screen surface hole, up and down a little curvature, arc no major p40 pro, I said before aperture reference, not narrowed significantly compared to the previous generation,” said what appears to be a translated version of the DSC's post on Weibo. The “high version” is believed to be a reference to the top-end model of Mi 11.
As said earlier, Mi 11 series has appeared in multiple leaks and rumours. According to them, Mi 11 run on Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 875 processor. The smartphone series will also improve on the camera front. The base model Mi 11 is said to come with 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It is also expected to come with improved image stabilisation. One of the variants of Mi 11 is also said to come with an improved version of the 108-megapixel camera.
Other improvements expected from Xiaomi's Mi 11 series include fast charging capacity, a 4,900mAh battery, and a faster display.
Separately, Xiaomi has unveiled a new and improved camera technology. A new camera lens is capable of capturing up to 300% more light and take up to 20% sharper photos. The company has not disclosed when the camera technology will be commercially available. There are speculations that it could be part of the upcoming Mi 11 series.
