Microsoft gears to launch Surface Duo outside the US

Microsoft Surface Duo is priced at $1,399, which is 1,04,600 approximately.

Microsoft, earlier this year, launched the Surface Duo. However, at the time, it was available only in the US. Now, Microsoft is gearing to launch its foldable smartphone in markets outside the US.

As per a report by Windows Latest, the Microsoft Surface Duo has already received certifications in Japan, Canada and the UK. It is expected to launch in these countries in early 2021.

The report also said that the phone is on track to launch in Europe. The company has been in touch with mobile carriers in the United Kingdom to launch the phone there. The phone is expected to launch in Europe by early 2021.

Notably, while the phone has received certification in Japan, it remains unclear if the company will launch its Surface Duo smartphone in other markets in Asia.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Microsoft Surface Duo comes with a 5.6-inch OLED display and an aspect ratio of 4:3. When unfolded completely, it will have a big 8.1-inch display with PixelSense Fusion technology.

It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor that is coupled with 6GB of RAM. It comes with two batteries with a combined capacity of 3,577mAh. It is priced at $1,399, which is 1,04,600 approximately.
