Samsung Galaxy S21 has been a subject to several rumorus and leaks. There have even been reports suggesting that these handsets could launch earlier than their late February launch schedule. However, a new report now gives a slightly more insight on when the new series can launch and when the handsets can possibly go on sale. According to a South Korean publication, Samsung could launch the Galaxy S21 series in mid-January and this would also mean that the handsets can hit the shelves as early as starting of February. This will also help it counter Apple iPhone 12 sales early.

This report falls in line with the recent report by Winfuture De, which claims that the company has started mass producing the smartphones already. According to a report, Samsung began the production of Galaxy S21 Ultra last week, and it plans to start the manufacturing of components for the Galaxy S21 Plus soon. Samsung is yet to start production of parts for the Galaxy S21 according to the report. The Galaxy S21 smartphones are rumoured to launch in January which is earlier than when the phones usually launch.

The high-end model in the series, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to come with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 875/Exynos 2100 chipset, and a 108-megapixel primary camera. This will be accompanied by a 16-megapixel and 12-megapixel camera at the rear, and a 40-megapixel front camera. Galaxy S21 Ultra is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy S21 smartphones will most likely run Android 11-based One UI 3.0 out-of-the-box. The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ will also pack the Snapdragon 875 chipset for the US market, and Exynos 2100 for other markets.
