Moto E40 launched in India: Check price, specs and availability here

The Moto E40 is priced at 9,499. It comes in India in Carbon Gray and Pink Clay colour variants.

Motorola launched a new budget smartphone in India today. The company today launched the Moto E40 smartphone in India today. It is a part of the company’s E-series smartphones consisting of the Moto E7 Power and the Moto E6s among others. It comes with a dual-SIM design and an octa-core processor along with a triple rear camera setup. In India, the Moto E40 competes with the likes of the Realme C21Y, Samsung Galaxy M12, and the Infinix Hot 11 among others.

The Moto E40 is priced at 9,499. It comes in India in Carbon Gray and Pink Clay colour variants. Coming to availability, Motorola today announced that its newly launched Moto E40 smartphone will go on sale in India via e-retail platform Flipkart starting October 17.

Moto E40 specifications

Coming to the specifications, the newly launched Moto E40 features a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen refresh rate of 90Hz. It features a punch-hole display that is placed in the middle of the screen along with thin side bezels, a thick chin and IP52 water-repellant coating.

Coming to performance, the newly launched Moto E40 smartphone is powered by the UNISOC T700 octa-core processor that is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space that can be expanded further up to 1TB using a microSD card. The newly launched Moto E40 smartphone runs on a near-stock Android 11 OS.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Moto E40 comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor with quad pixel technology, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro vision camera. The rear camera setup features support for various modes including Portrait mode, Panorama, Face Beauty, HDR Night Vision, Macro Vision, and a Pro Mode. On the front, the newly launched Moto E40 has an 8MP selfie camera.

Lastly, the battery. The Moto E40 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery, which the company says can stream music for 76 hours, video for 14 hours or support website browsing for 10 hours on a single charge. Additionally, the newly launched smartphone features a dedicated Google Assistant key and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
