New Motorola smartphone launching in India on August 27, here's what we know

Motorola's upcoming phone will be available exclusively via Flipkart. Here's what we expect from the new phone.

New Moto phone launching in India soon.

Motorola has teased the launch of a new phone in India. The new Motorola phone will be available exclusively via Flipkart, and the launch will take place on August 27. Motorola hasn't revealed much in the teaser other than showing a short glimpse of its upcoming phone.

The teaser video for the upcoming Motorola phone confirms a USB Type-C port and speaker grille placed at the bottom. We also get to see the volume and power buttons on the side of the phone. There isn't much other than these details for the new Moto phone. Flipkart also has a microsite for the upcoming Motorola phone that reveals the launch date of the phone. It also has a survey on the new phone that hints on the possibility of a large battery, display, multiple rear cameras and the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Motorola has launched a few phones recently. These include the Motorola One Fusion+, One Fusion and Moto G5 Plus. Among these, the Motorola One Fusion+ is available in India. At the same time there have been fresh leaks and rumours on two new Motorola phones - Moto E7 and Moto E7 Plus. Based on what we know so far, Moto E7 Plus will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 460 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Moto E7 Plus is also said to sport a 48-megapixel dual camera setup with night vision support. More details on the Moto E7 Plus include fast charging support, USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

As for the Moto E7 which would be the more affordable variant in the series, this phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 632 chipset. The smartphone could feature a 6.2-inch HD+ display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Moto E7 is also tipped to pack 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual cameras. Like the Moto E7 Plus, this one too is said to come with a 5,000mAh battery and 10W fast charging speed.
