Oppo Android 12 update is rolling out very soon; in the matter of a few weeks. Oppo will make the beta version of the ColorOS 12 available starting December 10 for a few devices and a few weeks later, the stable update is rolling out as well. The 2021 flagships are getting the update first along with last year's flagship Find X2.

The ColorOS 12 beta update has already been available for a few Find X flagship series devices. However, compared to the previous generation models, the Reno models are getting it earlier this year. Note that the ColorOS 12 will bring a lot of design and feature changes, and is based on the newer Android 12 build.

Here is a list of all devices and timeline from Oppo that are getting the new update.

From December 10

-Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G to get ColorOS 12 beta

- Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G to get ColorOS 12 beta

From December 20

- Oppo Find X2 to get stable ColorOS 12 

From December 22

- Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G (including Diwali Edition) to get stable Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update. 

From December 28

- Oppo A74 5G to get stable ColorOS 12

- Oppo Reno6 5G to get stable ColorOS 12

The Oppo Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro, A74 5G, and Reno 5 Pro 5G were all announced in the 2021 as Oppo's mix of flagship and mid-range models. All these phones were announced with ColorOS 11 based on Android 11. The ColorOS 12 update was revealed a few weeks ago with some notable UI changes as well as new feature additions.

However, Samsung is beating Oppo and OnePlus to be the first non-Google OEM to release Android 12 update. Globally, the Galaxy S21 series has already got the Android 12 update while India will start getting it from December 2021. The first batch of Samsung phones expected to get the update include the S21 series, Galaxy Z foldables, Galaxy Note 20 series devices, and probably the Galaxy S20 series devices.
