Oppo Reno 4 series confirmed to launch in India with localised features
Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro will launch in India soon, and both phones will have localised features.
Oppo yesterday launched its Reno 4 series in China. The company also confirmed it will bring the new smartphones to India soon.
The Oppo Reno 4 series in India will come with features customised for users in India. “Following OPPO’s "Glocal" strategy, the India version of the smartphone is expected to come with multiple localized features to cater to the changing needs of Indian consumers,” Oppo said in its press release.
The company hasn’t confirmed the date for its smartphone launch in India as yet though. Oppo is currently scheduled to launch its Find X2 series in India on June 17. So the Reno 4 smartphones could arrive sometime later.
Oppo’s new smartphone series features the Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro. It starts at RMB 2,999 ( ₹31,999 approx) for the base model of Reno 4 and RMB 3,799 ( ₹40,600 approx)for the Reno 4 Pro.
In terms of specs, Oppo Reno 4 comes with a 6.4-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It has a triple camera setup of 48-megapixel, 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. Up front, there are two selfie cameras of 32-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors.
Oppo Reno 4 runs on ColorOS 7.2, and it packs a 4,000mAh battery.
Oppo Reno 4 Pro has a 6.5-inch curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also runs on the Snapdragon 765G chipset but with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It sports a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, 13-megapixel telephoto lens and a Laser detection auto-focus lens. For selfies, it has a 32-megapixel front camera.
Oppo Reno 4 Pro is fuelled by a 4,020mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
