The Oppo Reno 7 series left everyone impressed with its camera performance and styling. Now, Oppo is all set to launch its successor dubbed Reno 8 Series. It has been in the news lately and several specs and details have already been leaked online. What we were not aware of is the launch date. And now, Oppo has officially revealed that - Oppo Reno 8 series is coming! Oppo will be launching the Oppo Reno 8 series smartphones in China on May 23. It is expected to bring three smartphones including the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 SE. Does that mean Indian users will still have to wait to experience the new Reno 8 Series? Oppo Reno 8 Series expected specs

The leaks and rumours surrounding the Reno 8 Series suggest several major upgrades over its Reno 7 series. According to the Digital chat station leak, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro is expected to bring the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset which offers the same kind of experience as the Snapdragon 888. If that is true then it is one of the major upgrades that we will witness from the Reno 7 Pro 5G, which features Dimensity 1200. Further, it may feature a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 4500mAh battery is expected to be fuelled by an 80W charging option.

The standard Oppo Reno 8 is tipped to come with a 6.62-inch punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. You may also find 80W fast charging technology here. Well The new will be the Reno 8 SE model which is expected to bring MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. It may feature a 6.43-inch OLED display, but unlike other Reno 8 models, SE is tipped to have only a 90Hz refresh rate.

Concerned about cameras? All three Reno 8 models are expected to have a triple-camera setup on the rear while a 32MP will support selfies in the front.

Oppo Reno 8 Series expected launch in India

Currently, Oppo Reno 8 series has been confirmed to be launched in China. Well, it looks like the Indian market still has to wait a little more. But in a separate tweet by the tipster Mukul Sharma suggested the Oppo Reno 8 series launch in India is expected soon! "So yes, the Oppo Reno8 series Indian launch appears to be imminent. Have spotted both the vanilla and the Pro variants on the company's Indian website," Mukul Sharma tweeted.

Still, there is no official news about the Oppo Reno 8 series launch in India, hence, we have to wait to hear final words from Oppo only.
