Oppo Reno 8 series is here! Oppo launched its Reno 8 series in China today with its three variants Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+ in several colour options. The highlighted one of these smartphones is the Reno 8 Pro which features the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. While, the most premium one in the line-up, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ gets the MariSilicon X NPU which is available in Oppo's premium Find X5 Pro 5G. Oppo Reno 8 series: Specs, features and price 

The standard Oppo Reno 8 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC which will run on Android 12 with the ColorOS 12.0 skin on top. It features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Oppo Reno 8 has a 50MP primary camera and two other 2MP secondary sensors. The Oppo Reno 8 price starts at CNY 2499 (around Rs. 29,200) for the basic model of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. You also have the option of 8GB RAM with 256GB memory and 12GB RAM along with 256GB of storage priced at CNY 2699 and CNY 2999 respectively.

After this, the new line-up has the Oppo Reno 8 Pro which is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. It features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a rear triple-camera setup including a 50MP main camera along with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP microsensor. The Reno 8 Pro starts at CNY 2999 (around Rs. 35,000).

The most premium one in the series, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ has a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX chip under the hood which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM. This has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. You will get the same camera setup as the Pro model. The Reno 8 Pro+ is priced at CNY 3699 (around Rs. 43,200) for 8GB RAM and 256GB memory, while another option is 12GB of RAM with 256GB storage variant which comes at CNY 3999.

If we take a new leak as an indication, then Oppo is preparing to launch the Reno 8 series in India soon. Tipster Mukul Sharma tweeted a screenshot which looks like the listing of upcoming phones on the BIS website. One of the mentions in the list carries CPH2357, which is likely the model number of the upcoming Reno 8 Pro. This hints at the imminent launch of Oppo Reno 8 Pro in India, if not the whole Reno 8 series.
