Poco C3 will launch in India today. The company will host a virtual event at 12 PM to unveil the latest budget smartphone. Ahead of the official launch, Poco has already disclosed a few details of the phone. It is also listed on Flipkart hinting at an exclusive availability arrangement. Here is what you need to know about the new phone.

Confirmed features

Official renders on Flipkart reveal the phone comes with a dewdrop-like notch on the front. The back panel appears to be a plastic panel with a two-tone finish. The panel houses a square camera module that houses as many as three camera sensors and one LED flash.

Poco C3 is confirmed to come with a 13-megapixel primary camera and will also include a macro lens. For performance, it will have up to 4GB of RAM. It is also confirmed to come with a 5,000mAh battery. The phone will have an HD+ display.

The phone will be priced under 10,000.


Poco C3 is said to be a rebranded Redmi 9C. The Redmi phone comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ display. Powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, it has up to 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage capacity that can be expanded further using a 512GB microSD card. It runs on Android 10-based MIUI 11. It also comes with a 5,000mAh battery.

On the camera front, the Redmi 9C features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It has AI face unlock technology for security and it comes with a 3.5mm jack for connectivity.
