Poco F3 GT with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 to launch in India later this year

Poco F3 GT has been confirmed to launch in India in Q3. The company has so far revealed the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor.

Poco India has announced the launch of a new phone called ‘Poco F3 GT’. The smartphone has been teased to launch in India during Q3 this year. Poco is yet to announce the specific launch for Poco F3 GT. This phone is expected to be an upgraded version of the Poco F3 that made its debut along with the Poco X3 Pro in March this year.

Poco is yet to announce the specific launch for Poco F3 GT. This phone is expected to be an upgraded version of the Poco F3 that made its debut along with the Poco X3 Pro in March this year.

Poco shared a teaser video confirming the Poco F3 GT will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. This also confirms the phone will have 5G support. Poco hasn’t revealed anything else about this launch. It has already been rumoured though that Xiaomi’s Redmi K40 Gaming Edition would launch as Poco F3 GT in India according to leakster Kacper Skrzypek. Poco is known to launch Redmi phones under its brand so it’s quite possible for this to happen. Redmi K40 Gaming Edition also uses the Dimensity 1200 processor.|#+|

As for the rest of the specifications, we can expect a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone could launch with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It could also pack a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

Poco F3 GT is also expected to feature a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor at the rear. For selfies, it will most likely house a 16-megapixel selfie camera. More features expected include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Dual 5G standby, Dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, JBL certification, and Wi-Fi 6.
