Poco is gearing up for a new smartphone launch this month. Called Poco M3, the phone is scheduled to go official on November 24. The company has not disclosed anything else beyond the official name but a spate of leaks and rumours around the phone has hit the web. The latest is a set of renders that reveal a unique back panel design.

Leaked by Mysmartprice in collaboration with reliable leakster Ishan Agarwal, Poco M3 is seen sporting a big black patch on the back that houses camera sensors, LED flash and Poco branding (in big fonts). The panel is said to come with a textured pattern for a better grip. Leaked renders further reveal that Poco M3 has a waterdrop-notched display on the front. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. That said, the black-coloured camera module on the rear appears to gel well with the overall design, especially, bright yellow and blue colours. There is also a grey variant. Take a look at the leaked renders below:

Poco M3 rumoured specifications

Poco M3 is said to come with a 6.53-inch display with an IPS LCD panel with full HD+ resolution. The phone will reportedly run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. On the software front, it runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 out-of-the-box.

The phone has a triple-rear camera module on the back with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. A 6,000mAh battery powers the phone. It will also ship with an 18W fast charger.

As of now, there is no word on the price of the phone. Poco currently offers two M-series phones – M2 and M2 Pro – available via Flipkart for starting prices of 10,999 and 13,999 respectively. Poco M3 is likely to be priced under 15,000. We’re likely to find out more about the phone in the coming days. Until then, stay tuned.
