Google's Android Go Edition is getting embraced by more OEMs. In case you did not know, Android Go is the lighter version of the main OS and works with entry-level phones with 2GB of RAM or less. Already, companies such as HMD Global and Motorola offer Android Go-based phones. The next popular OEM that could join the Android Go bandwagon is Realme.
According to a Gizmochina report, Realme is working on a new C-series phone – C21Y – touted as the company's first Android Go smartphone. The report adds the phone will first launch in Vietnam. It is also likely to be available in other markets.

The handset has a 6.5-inch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 89.5% screen-to-body ratio. The screen also comes with a dewdrop-like notch to house the front-facing camera.
Realme C21 has a 13-megapixel primary sensor at the back with f/2.2 aperture, along with a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a third 2-megapixel monochrome lens with f/2.4 aperture. At the front, you get a 5-megapixel camera for selfie images inside a waterdrop style notch, along with an f/2.2 aperture.
A MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor powers the phone. The phone comes in two memory options – 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. It packs a 5,000mAh battery. Realme also offers software-driven battery optimisation features. For instance, a Super Power Savings Mode is said to let you use WhatsApp for up to 85 minutes at just 5% battery.
