Redmi Note 9T key specs, EU prices revealed ahead of Jan 8 launch
After launching a premium Mi 11, Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch a new smartphone under its Redmi series. Dubbed as Redmi Note 9T, key specifications and features of the phone have already leaked online multiple times. Now, Redmi Note 9T has been spotted on Amazon Germany, revealing key specs and EU prices.
According to a listing on Amazon Germany, Xiaomi's Redmi Note 9T will start at Eur 229 ( ₹20,550 approximately). Note the price is for the base model that has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. The 128GB storage model with the same RAM capacity is priced at Eur 269 ( ₹24,138 approximately).
Apart from the prices, the listing also gives away key specifications of the phone. The upcoming Redmi Note 9T comes with MediaTek's octa-core Dimensity 800U processor. It runs on a 5,000mAh battery which is said to deliver up to 18 hours of video playback. The battery is bundled with 18W fast charging support.
The phone also comes with 5G+5G dual-SIM capability. Other listed features are NFC and 48-megapixel rear camera. One of the colour variants will be called Nightfall Black.

Redmi Note 9T is also rumoured to come with a 6.53-inch full HD+ DotDisplay with 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on Android 10.0 out-of-the-box. It will sport a triple camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, as said earlier.
According to a GSMArena report, Redmi Note 9T is most likely a global version of the Redmi Note 9 5G that launched in China recently. Renders posted by Abhishek Yadav reveal the phone has a full-screen display with a punch-hole cutout on the top left corner. On the back, it has a circular camera module as seen in various Xiaomi phones of late. There is also a “Redmi 5G” engraving at the bottom of the back panel.
Xiaomi's Redmi Note 9T 5G will go official on January 8.
