The update has begun rolling out to Note 10 Lite devices in France, based on a screenshot shared by a Galaxy Note 10 Lite user on Twitter. It appears that the update brings the December 2020 security patches, which is surprising considering the company's recent speed at also updating its S and Note series devices with the latest monthly security patches.

Just yesterday, we reported that the company updated the budget Galaxy M21 and F41 to Android 11, nearly ten days after it updated another M-series sibling, the Galaxy M31. Going by Samsung's own update schedule for Android 11 for India, it looks like the Galaxy A71, M30s, A51 are next in line - they were all supposed to get the update with the Note 10 Lite, M31 and M21 in March.

Once considered one of the ‘slower' manufacturers when it comes to updates, Samsung is now leading the pack, with over 18 devices updated to Android 11 so far - and officially higher than any Android OEM at the moment. Motorola and HMD Global, once considered to be quick at releasing updates have fallen behind. Even OnePlus has only pushed the update to Android 11 out to the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro to Android 11 so far.
