Samsung Galaxy S20 FE launched in India, pre-booking starts on Oct 9

Samsung has launched only one variant of the Galaxy S20 FE in India.

Samsung on Tuesday launched its latest Galaxy S20 FE smartphone in India. Galaxy S20 FE is a more affordable version of the flagship Galaxy S20 borrowing some of its key features and specs.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is priced at 49,999 in India. The smartphone comes in five colour options of Cloud Red, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy and Cloud White. The smartphone can be pre-booked starting October 9 from Samsung's online store and retail stores. Samsung has some pre-booking offers such as special benefits worth 8,000, Samsung e-store benefits worth 4,000, an upgrade bonus of 3,000, or cashback up to 4,000 for HDFC Bank customers.

In terms of specs, Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Exynos 990 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It comes in two more variants of 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB but Samsung hasn't launched these in India.

The smartphone sports a triple camera setup featuring a 12-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel secondary sensor and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. It also has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies. Galaxy S20 FE is equipped with OIS, supports optical zoom up to 3x, and digital zoom up to 30x.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. It also has support for wireless charging. The smartphone is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, and it has an indisplay fingerprint sensor.
