The Samsung Galaxy S21 series will go on sale in the US later this month.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is here! Samsung on Thursday launched its next-generation premium budget smartphone series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2021. The Galaxy S21 series, as countless leaks and reports have detailed in the past, comprises of three smartphone models, which includes the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+ and the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

All of these three models are powered by octa-core processors. They also features support for 5G connectivity and AKG stereo speakers.

As far as the prices and availability are concerned, the Galaxy S21 starts at $799, while the Galaxy S21+ starts at $999. The Galaxy S21 Ultra, on the other hand, starts at $1,199. The Galaxy S21 series will be available in the US later this month.

Samsung Galaxy S21

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is the base model of the Galaxy S21 series. It comes with a 6.2-inch Flat FHD+ 120Hz dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core SoC that is coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. It runs on Android 11 with the company's One UI 3.0 on top.

As far as the camera is concerned, the Galaxy S21 sports a triple rear camera setup that is housed inside a vertically stacked metallic camera module. It has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens at the back. On the front, it has a 10-megapixel Dual Pixel AF camera. It comes with a 4,000mAh battery with Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 technology. 

Samsung Galaxy S21+

This phone sits in between the vanilla Galaxy S21 and the top of the line Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones. It sports a 6.7-inch Flat FHD+ 120Hz dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. Like Galaxy S21, S21+ is powered by an octa-core SoC that has been made using the 5nm process. This SoC is coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. It features the same camera setup, in the front and at the back, as the one included in the Galaxy S21 smartphone. It gets a bigger 4,800mAh battery with support for Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 technology.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

This is the highest model in the Galaxy S21 series. It competes with the likes of the iPhone 12 Pro Max in the premium smartphone market. It gets the biggest 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels. Like the Galaxy S21 and S21+, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is also powered by an octa-core processor that has been made using 5nm process. It comes in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants and 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options. This smartphone also gets support for Samsung's SPen stylus and the SPen+ stylus, a feature that was earlier restricted to the Galaxy Note series.

In terms of the cameras, it has a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera, a 108-megapixel phase detection camera, a 10-megapixel Dual Pixel camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens at the back with 100x space zoom. On the front, it has a 40-megapixel front camera.

It gets a massive 5,000mAh battery with support Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 technology. It is available in Phantom Black colour variant.
