For gamers, a recently launched smartphone by OnePlus bears taking a closer look. The OnePlus 10R 5G promises a great performance and a top-class gaming experience, as per the company. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX Chipset and a HyperBoost Gaming Engine. The chipset also supports the more complex gaming formats and the 120 Hz display offers an ultra-smooth experience.

Gaming apart, the smartphone can also double-up as an on-the-go entertainment device as it offers an immersive viewing experience powered by a high-quality display and long battery life.

The OnePlus 10R 5G has 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and is powered by a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX octa-core Chipset that offers CPU speeds up to 2.85 GHz and 11 per cent improved multi-core performance, compared to the older generations. This makes it capable of handling gaming loads without any lag.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX enhances the gaming performance by offering a 20 per cent improved GPU performance and 25 per cent improved power efficiency over the previous MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, reveals OnePlus. This model also features the MediaTek APU 580 and its dedicated AI processor, which offers 80 per cent improved AI performance.

Its display also promises to bring games to life. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display, a flicker-free 120 Hz refresh rate, that can adjust between 120 Hz, 90 Hz and 60 Hz, depending on the kind of content you wish to play on it and a maximum touch response rate of up to 1,000 Hz. That means whether it is a TV series or a game, the experience is immersive. The screen, and a HDR10+ certification also make sure you get richer, deeper colours every time.

OnePlus says it has sorted out the heating issue even when used for long durations with a state-of-the-art 3D Passive Cooling System, which is the largest chamber in any OnePlus phone so far, measuring over 4,100 mm2 along with a cooling film made from graphite and graphene technology. This is OnePlus' largest and most advanced cooling system so far, which will ensure that the phone doesn't heat up after hours of gaming or binge watching your favourite series.

As far as fuel for the phone goes, the OnePlus 10R 5G has a 4,500 mAh battery which lasts for the entire day. For times when the battery hits a low alert, this smartphone comes with the 150W/ 80W SUPERVOOC, which is the fastest charging experience ever to be found on a OnePlus smartphone. With the 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition that comes with the 4,500 mAh battery, you can charge your OnePlus 10R 5G from 0 to 30 per cent in all of 3 minutes, says OnePlus.

The OnePlus 10R 5G is configured for gaming with its HyperBoost Gaming Engine that enables a more responsive and stable gaming experience without a lag and the phone quickly responds to every action. The GPA Frame Stabilizer reduces the frame rate fluctuation while gaming for a smoother experience by leveraging exclusive AI computing models to adjust the CPU and GPU resources according to fluctuations in frame rates, claims OnePlus.

The OnePlus 10R 5G comes pre-installed with the OxygenOS 12.1 which has brand new features around work, rest and play and a burden-less design to enhance its performance. As part of the bundle, the smartphone will get three major Android updates and four years of security updates.
