This is how much LG's rollable smartphone could cost

LG is expected to launch its rollable smartphone in March next year.

LG has been rumoured of launching a rollable smartphone next year. The South Korean company is known for rollable displays, and it may bring this technology to smartphones soon. A new leak suggests the possible pricing and launch timeline for LG's rollable smartphone.

According to tipster @cozyplanes on Twitter, LG will price its rollable smartphone at $2,359 ( 1,73,500 approx). The tipster added that the launch of LG's rollable smartphone is scheduled for March next year but it may be delayed to June. There's no official confirmation as LG hasn't teased its rollable smartphone yet. But it won't be entirely surprising if LG does come up with this device.

The same tipster had also revealed the possible specifications of the rollable phone. It is expected to feature a 7.4-inch rollable display with a 2428 x 1080 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio when in phone mode. In video mode, the rollable phone will have an aspect ratio of 16:9 and 2428 x 1366 pixels resolution. It will also have a productivity mode with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 2428 x 1600 pixels display.

LG's rollable phone is also expected htto pack 16GB of RAM, and it could be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The smartphone is also tipped to pack a 4,200mAh battery. There are no details on the phone's camera specs yet.

This will be the second smartphone under LG's Explorer Project. The first phone under this project was the LG Wing with a dual-rotating display. LG Wing costs 69,990.
