Vivo S9 series is scheduled to launch on March 4. Ahead of the launch there have been a series of leaks on the new Vivo phones, and the company has also been dropping teasers. Vivo has now shown off the rear design of the S9 series in a new teaser.

Vivo S9 is seen in two colours with a gradient finish. The smartphone has flat edges similar to the iPhone 12 series. The rear cameras are stacked on the left corner in a rectangular-shaped module. The poster shared on Weibo (via GSMArena) also confirms the Vivo S9 will feature a 44-megapixel selfie camera. It also mentions the Vivo S9e, and that it will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Vivo S9 in the poster is seen in two colours with a gradient finish but there's a white colour option as well.

In terms of specs, Vivo S9 is expected to run on MediaTek's Dimensity 1100 processor. The smartphone is said to feature a 6.44-inch full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its rear camera setup could feature a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Accompanying the 44-megapixel selfie camera is expected to be a secondary sensor.

Vivo S9 is also expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM, and pack a 4,000mAh battery. It will most likely run Android 11 with FunTouch OS out-of-the-box. The smartphone is also said to come with 5G support, and feature a glass-metal design.

As for the Vivo S9e, this smartphone is rumoured to come with the Dimensity 820 processor, a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 8GB of RAM. More specs include up to 256GB of internal storage, and a 4,000mAh battery.
