Vivo to launch the slimmest 5G phone in India, the Vivo V20 Pro, by this year

The Vivo V20 Pro is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 765G and comes with a 6.44-inch screen and dual selfie cameras housed in a notch.

Vivo is going to launch the pro iteration of the Vivo V20 later this year. The upcoming Vivo V20 Pro is going to be the slimmest 5G smartphone in the world and is expected to be announced towards the end of this year. 

Notably, the phone is already available in the global market and it will be available in India in late 2020.

The Vivo V20 Pro is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 765G and comes with a 6.44-inch screen and dual selfie cameras housed in a notch. The dual selfies cameras include the 44MP Eye Autofocus lens and an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens. The Vivo V20 Pro is just 7.39mm thick, which makes it one of the slimmest 5G phones so far.

On the back there is the 64MP primary shooter, an 8MP secondary and a 2MP mono camera, the same setup seen on the recently launched Vivo V20.

Besides this, the Vivo V20 Pro is going to come with a 33W flash charge support and a 4,000mAh battery.

Vivo recently launched the Vivo V20 in India with prices starting from ₹24,990 for the base model (8GB/128GB). Available in 8GB/256GB as well for ₹27,990, the Vivo V20 comes in three colours -Midnight Jazz, Sunset Melody and Midnight Sonata.

The smartphone came with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED notched display and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Vivo V20 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G processor, and it supports expandable storage up to 1TB.

Vivo V20 has a triple-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel mono sensor. Some of its features include night mode, motion autofocus, super macro, and portrait bokeh. For selfies, Vivo V20 features a 44-megapixel camera with eye autofocus for photos and videos, 4K video recording, and dual-view video.

The smartphone is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W FlashCharge. Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port, and dual-SIM support. On the software front, Vivo V20 runs Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 11 out-of-the-box.
