Vivo has reportedly begun taking pre-booking for its new Vivo V20 Pro 5G in India. The smartphone is currently available through offline retail stores and priced at 29,990, reports 91Mobiles.

According to the report, Vivo is also bundling schemes such as 10% cashback (with ICICI Bank and Bank of Baroda), EMI options, and Jio data bundle, among others.

Interestingly, Vivo has not officially announced the availability and price of the phone in India yet. A report last month had said the phone will hit Indian shores by the end of this year.

Vivo's V20 Pro 5G is touted as the slimmest 5G smartphone so far. The India variant of the phone will most likely have the same specifications as its global counterpart. The 5G smartphone has a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display. It houses relatively larger notch on the front as it features as many as two front-facing camera sensors. The display also houses an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

For performance, Vivo V20 Pro 5G runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. On the software front, it has Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11. There is no word on whether the phone will receive the brand-new OriginOS, recently introduced by Vivo.

Camera configurations of the phone include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and 2-megapixel sensor. The front-facing array has a 44-megapixel primary sensor and 8-megapixel wide-angle-lens.

Vivo V20 Pro 5G runs on a 4,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charge.
