Vivo has announced the launch date for its new flagship smartphone, Vivo X60 Pro+. The new Vivo smartphone will launch on January 21. It will be the most premium offering from the Vivo X60 series.

Vivo X60 Pro+ is expected to be the company's first Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone. Vivo is yet to confirm this and it hasn't revealed any specs of the smartphone yet. Based on posters released by a Chinese retailer, Vivo X60 Pro+ will come with the latest Snapdragon 888 processor, advanced quad camera with ZEISS optics, improved low-light photography and high quality audio as well.

Vivo X60 Pro+ has also been spotted on the 3C certification site and Geekbench revealing some of its specs. These include 55W fast charging speed, 12GB RAM and Android 11 for the Vivo X60 Pro+. The smartphone is also tipped to sport a quad-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Vivo X60 Pro+ is also said to feature a 120Hz display. Leaked renders of the Vivo X60 Pro+ reveal a punch-hole display.

Vivo X60 Pro+ will join the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro smartphones that were launched last month. Vivo X60 and X60 Pro both run on Samsung's Exynos 1080 processor, and feature 120Hz displays with HDR 10+ support. Both smartphones are available with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Vivo X60 Pro offers a slightly better array of cameras than the X60.

Vivo X60 is available for a starting price of CNY 3,498 ( 39,000 approx) and the X60 Pro is available for CNY 4,498 ( 50,000 approx). There's no word on the global launch of the Vivo X60 series yet.
