Vivo X60 Pro+ might be company’s first with Snapdragon 888, says tipster
In December Vivo launched two smartphones in its flagship X60 series - the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro, in China. However, during the launch it also teased the upcoming Vivo X60 Pro+ handset. The details of the device are not known. But the company said that it will be launching the smartphone sometime in January. Now we have got the first leak of this particular device.
According to a tipster named Digital Chat Station, on microblogging website Weibo, the X60 Pro+ will feature the latest flagship smartphone processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. This will also make the X60 Pro+ the first handset by the company to come with this processor.
It is not the first smartphone with this chipset though. Xiaomi Mi 11 became the world's first with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 as it got launched a couple of days before the New Year.
As for Vivo, the already launched X60 Pro and the X60 come with Samsung's Exynos 1080 chipset. The tipster says that X60 Pro+ can have four rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, along with a display with 12Hz refresh rate.
In addition, the device can also have a single punch hole cutout on the display for the front camera. X60 Pro+ is speculated to boast Zeiss certified optical lens. The tipster ads that the handset is coated with Zeiss’ T coating. The exact launch date of the device is not yet known.
The X60 is available for a starting price of CNY 3,498 (Rs 39,000 approximately) and the X60 Pro is available for CNY 4,498 ( ₹50,000 approximately).
