We might see a super-premium Ultra version of the Xiaomi Mi 11 series

Like Xiaomi did with the Mi 10 Ultra, we might see an ultra version of the Mi 11 too.

We know that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite are almost definitely on the cards when the company launches the Xiaomi Mi 11 series on February 8, but according to a leak, another phone might be coming in too.

The information comes from Digital Chat Station who posted on Chinese social media platform Weibo and the tip goes that there is a phone in the Mi 11 series that is going to sit above the Mi 11 Pro.

There is also a higher positioning than pro, but it is not sure if it is a super big cup. The engineering machine is also a 2k+120hz single-hole four-curved screen, 67w± wireless, and a much larger battery.

The tipster provided a few bits of information on the super-premium variety - a 2K screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a screen that curves on all four edges, 67W wireless charging and a bigger battery than what's going to come on the other Mi 11 devices.

The standard Xiaomi Mi 11 has already launched in China and the specs of that device are already known. Going by that sheet, the leaked screen details of the new ‘mystery' device, including its resolution and the curved edges match the Mi 11. The charging details and the battery is where things vary.

Months after Xiaomi Mi 10 launched in 2020, Xiaomi hosted a live stream to show the Mi 10 Ultra which was a premium version of the Mi 10 and was available for sale only in China.

So, it is highly likely that the the new Mi 11 phone could be called the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, even if not exactly in name, but in specs and features.

It is not known if the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will be launched outside China, just like the Mi 10 Ultra.

The launch of the Mi 11 series is just a few days away, so we'll just have to wait and watch.
