According to Xiaomishka, the smartphone could deliver up to 120x digital zoom. Codenamed “CAS”, the upcoming 108-megapixel camera phone could be a newer variant of Mi CC 10 series. The report claims Xiaomi had been developing the phone for quite some time. The 120x digital zoom will be achieved through a camera setup that includes a periscope lens. The sensor will help deliver 12x optical zoom through the 108-megapixel camera. According to the report, Xiaomi will use a different sensor ‘codenamed HM2’ on the phone. Apart from 108-megapixel camera and 120x digital zoom, the upcoming Xiaomi phone will reportedly have mid-range specifications. This includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 processor. It’s expected to launch next month, reports GSMArena.
