There must have been a moment where you felt a pinch of hesitation when someone asked to see your phone. Was it when they wanted to play a game that you’d been raving about, or click a picture at a party you’d gone to?  The reason for your discomfort was simple—you were worried about them chancing upon your private information on your phone.

How about the time when you were admiring a selfie of your partner on your phone and a family member, who happened to be passing by, glanced at it?

If you have been in at least one of these situations, you know what we are talking about— the deep-seated anxiety that we experience when our private lives are out in the open.

But, wait, you no longer have to worry about that. The Alt Z Life is here to the rescue. It’s a one-of-a-kind and novel approach to a stress-free life. It’s all about putting your privacy at the forefront.

As part of Alt Z life, Samsung has introduced two game-changing privacy features called Quick Switch and Intelligent Content Suggestion. Both are exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy A51 and A71.

Let’s find out more about these features.

Smartphone privacy like you’ve never seen before

If you’re on the metro and browsing through your smartphone gallery, you wouldn't want the person next to you to be prying. With people in such close proximity, it’s, however, inevitable. This is where Quick Switch comes to the rescue. With just a double click of the power button, you can switch from the private versions of the gallery, browser, and WhatsApp to their non-private versions.

The video below explains how you can activate this feature on your Samsung Galaxy A51/A71.

Thanks to Quick Switch, even Radhika Madan was saved from the prying eyes of her sister. Watch this video to know more.

Intelligent Content Suggestion is here to make your life easier. It is an ‘On Device AI’ feature that lies within the Secure Folder on the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71, and helps automatically sort the private from the non-private.

All you need to do is set up some parameters. Select some faces, images and more that you’d like secured and let the ‘On Device AI’ feature take over.

Here’s how you can activate this feature on your Samsung Galaxy A51/A71.

The photographer in you will come out in full force

It’s not only these privacy features that make the Galaxy A51 and A71 so coveted. The resulting photos from the quad-camera setup will make your jaw drop The images are also rich in details and the colours are punchy.

Go to a park, a dimly-lit but aesthetically pleasing restaurant, or even to the streets full of graffiti, the camera can handle it all. With great sharpness and focus and rich details, your Instagram comments will be full of positives.

With Single Take, you never have to worry about the perfect frame. If your friends are being goofy or a fast-moving game of tennis is taking place, then just launch the camera app, select Single Take and shoot away. You’ll get up to 7 photos and 3 videos to choose from as a result. These include a short movie, a GIF, and plenty of stylised photos.

There’s also Night Hyperlapse, Smart Selfie Angle, Quick Video, Custom Filter, Switch Camera While Recording* and AI Gallery Zoom to tickle your fancy. With the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71, you can be rest assured that your photos are a notch above the others.
