After Realme 3 Pro, Realme to launch a new phone with pop-up selfie camera
Realme’s next smartphone features Vivo Next-like pop-up selfie camera.
Realme is set to make its debut in China next month. Ahead of the official launch, Realme has started teasing its new smartphone. In one of the recent teasers, Realme has revealed its next smartphone will come with pop-up selfie camera.
Spotted by GSMArena, the Realme 3 Pro successor is seen with an edge-to-edge screen with minimum bezels on the side. The top doesn't have a notch like Realme 3 series. The teaser also reveals a selfie camera module popping out from the top edge. The module looks very similar to Vivo Nex. The video also hints at new audio settings.
Realme, a sub-brand of Oppo, debuted in India last year. In a very short span, Realme has raced to top five smartphone brands in India. It had about 8% market share in the fourth quarter of 2018. After a successful start in India, Realme aims to expand its footprints in newer markets including Europe and China.
Realme's last big launch was Realme 3 Pro. Available online at a starting price of ₹13,999, Realme 3 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with up to 6GB of RAM. It features 16-megapixel (f1.7 aperture) and 5-megapixel (f2.4 aperture) rear cameras, and 25-megapixel f/2.0 front camera. Other key features of the phone include 4,045 battery, Android Pie and Vooc fast charging.
