Airtel partners Amazon India, itel for cashback on 4G smartphones
Amazon customers will receive cashback up to ₹2,600 while itel users will get ₹1,800 cashback.
Aiming to further drive smartphone adoption in India, Bharti Airtel and Amazon India on Friday joined hands to offer a range of 4G smartphones at affordable prices, starting at ₹3,399. Airtel also announced its partnership with itel to offer cashback of ₹1,800 on 4G smartphones.
As part of the partnership Amazon customers will receive a cashback of up to ₹2,600 that can be availed over time, coupled with an additional cashback of ₹600 on Airtel recharge of ₹169.
"The partnership with Amazon India will give further momentum to our 'Mera Pehla Smartphone' initiative with which we are working towards empowering every Indian to fulfill their dream of owning a smartphone and getting onto the digital superhighway," said Vani Venkatesh, Chief Marketing Officer, Bharti Airtel.
The offer will cover over 65 4G smartphones from companies including Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi and more that are exclusively available on Amazon India.
"Through this partnership, we are empowering customers to enjoy superior 4G technology at affordable prices with a special cashback offer upon recharging exclusively on Amazon.in," added Noor Patel, Director, Category Management, Amazon India.
Airtel's cashback of ₹1,800 will be applicable on itel A44, itel A44Pro and itel S42. The cashback lowers the effective price of the devices. itel customes can claim the cashback by downloading 'My Airtel' app and registering with their Airtel number.
The cashback will be distributed through 36 discount coupons of ₹50 each which will be automatically credited to the user's account post 24 hours of registering. The coupons will apply on recharges of ₹199 or above. Customers can redeem one instant cashback coupon with every recharge via the app.
