Apple Store in India is down
Apple Store is down. While we are still able to access the product pages and check out the specs and site, clicking on ‘buy’ or ‘check pricing’ is inaccessible.
Apple Store in India seems to be down with sections like ‘buy' and ‘check pricing' showing a “We'll be right back” when clicked on.
While the site itself is still accessible and you can view product pages and see the specs etc, if you click on ‘Buy' for, say, the new Apple Watch 6, you are taken a to a blacked-out page with the Apple logo that states - “We'll be right back”, followed by - “Updates are coming to the Apple Store. Check back soon.”
We were lead to this page when we clicked on the ‘Check pricing' for the new iPhone 12 and also when we clicked on ‘Accessories' for iPhones. The main page for iPhone, Apple Watch etc are all accessible along with all the product information on the connected pages under ‘Learn More'.
This could actually be Apple bringing in some improved prices to keep up with the deals Flipkart and Amazon are offering or going to offer on the ongoing Flipkart Big Billion Days sale and the Amazon Great Indian Festival that kicks off tomorrow for all users.
Apple had announced discounted prices on its older iPhones, like the iPhone XR, iPhone 11 and the iPhone SE (2020), just hours after they unveiled the new iPhone 12 series. Besides this, Apple is also offering free AirPods with the iPhone 11 - this offer starts from tomorrow, October 17.
We'll update you once the store is back online.
