Next week is going to be all about Apple's annual software conference - the Apple WWDC 2022! Starting from June 6, the 5-day long Apple Worldwide Developers Conference will conclude on June 10. What it will offer Apple fans has been sort of a mystery so far, as Apple has kept most things secret. Those looking to find out for sure should know that the keynote will be held on June 6. However, having said that, it is not hidden from the fans that, as usual, Apple is expected to announce its new software- iOS 16. It is likely to change the experience of users to a major extent. Well, iPad users can expect some major updates too with iPadOS 16. Similarly, Mac and Apple Watch users can hope for the latest update announcements tomorrow.

The keynote of the event is expected to be kickstarted by Apple's CEO Tim Cook at 10 AM PDT / 6 PM GMT on June 6. Several leaks and rumours suggested that Apple is expected to revamp the notification panel on iOS 16 and the new lock screen wallpapers are expected to have widget-like capabilities. Besides that, you can expect some major upgrades to the Health app as well as the Messages app. Not just currently available iPhones, but Apple is planning something new to the upcoming iPhone 14 series. MacOS 13: What's new?

macOS 13 will be another major announcement by Apple during the event that Mac users are expecting. Leaks suggest that macOS will bring some minor changes to the experience of MacBooks, as widgets may move out of a sidebar, and onto the Mac desktop instead. Another hope is the Weather app from iOS 15 to make its appearance on macOS 13 as well.

iPadOS 16 to revamp the Apple iPad experience?

Mark Gurman's report suggested that iPadOS 16 could introduce resizable app windows as well as redesigned multitasking interface that makes it easier to see what apps are open and switch between tasks. It suggests that users will be able to run two apps side by side.

Can we expect 'M2' Apple Silicon in WWDC 2022?

Apple WWDC 2020 had announced the move from Intel chips to Apple Silicon. And back in the March event, Apple mentioned that the M1 Ultra was the last chip of M1. So! Maybe, the M2 Apple Silicon chip can be introduced during WWDC 2022. Undoubtedly, it will be more optimized compared to the M1, while keeping the focus on better battery life.
