In its latest move aimed at appealing teens some more, Instagram is reportedly getting a new feature that allows for co-watching of videos.

The feature, spotted by serial tipster Jane Manchun Wong, is similar to Facebook's experimental Watch Party, and allows users to watch together videos that are shared on the platform.

It is unclear as to which kind of videos will be supported, but the screenshots shared by Wong indicate that there would be a tab that would pull in related videos. One can also view a playlist of the videos you have selected.

It is likely that the feature will be used to further push IGTV and make the videos on the YouTube competitor co-watchable.
