Xiaomi's Mi India on Thursday announced that it sold over 13 million devices during the festive brand. The sub-brand registered a surge in demand for devices driven by categories such as TVs, streaming devices, trimmers, smart bands, audio products, and power banks. 

According to Mi India, newly launched products such as Mi Watch Revolve and Mi Smart Speaker were among the top favourites. Mi Box 4K and Mi TV Stick also emerged the top selling streaming devices across Amazon and Flipkart.

In the smart TV category, Xiaomi sold 4 million units of TVs, Mi ecosystem products and accessories. The company sold over 450,000 units of Mi TVs and Home Entertainment products during Diwali festival. 4K TVs registered the highest growth in demand over last year. Bigger screen sizes of 50-55-inch saw more than 50% growth vis-à-vis last year.

Other Mi-branded products also performed well during the festival season. For instance, the company recorded 10 million sales for its Made in India power banks. Sales of Mi Air Purifiers rose by 100%. Mi Smart Band was amongst the best-selling products in the fitness category.

Xiaomi's smartphone portfolio continued to do well in the festive season. The company sold more than 9 million smartphones during this period across all platforms. Mi 10T Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9, Redmi 9A were some of the bestselling devices during the festive sale.
